I am never satisfied with my costume choices because I waiver on making a decision for so long that I end up throwing something together at the last minute. That was not the case this year--I just went with my gut:
If you don't get it, shame on you. I was Uma Thurman from Pulp Fiction and I. looked. awesome.
I was complimented all night long. People in elaborate costumes told me they liked mine. Girls pulled me aside in the bathroom to tell me how original I was. The bartender asked to take my picture for the bar's website. It was my moment in the sun.
Mike had to work, so I tagged along with some awesome kids who did it up right:
There were so many creative costumes at the party--I LOVE that people didn't just throw on some animal ears, but instead took the time to make some really awesome outfits.
We had such a blast and it just solidified my belief that Halloween is the greatest day of the year.
Now if you remember, my bridesmaids gifted me with a bottle of wine for holidays that Mike and I will celebrate during our first year of marriage. The last thing I wanted to do today was drink anything but water, but I am a sucker for tradition.

We just had to drink out of these |
It has been a great Halloween and I'm anxiously awaiting the trick-or-treaters who will be knocking on our door. I love this time of the year!
Aww, I'm so excited you drank the wine! Did I send you those glasses last year?
