I just found out Chelsea Clinton's wedding cake was gluten-free. I find this utterly fascinating.
Apparently the girl suffers from a wheat allergy and was like "Screw it; it's my day. You all are getting a cake I can eat too."
At least I gave you all cupcakes :)
The cake was from the bakery La Tulipe and while I can't find a picture of her actual cake, these are examples of cakes from their website:
Their site says they use all-natural, organic ingredients, which makes me all the more curious as to how it tastes. Oh, and I read somewhere they run like $12 a slice.
Her cake was 9-tiers, 4-feet, and 500-pounds.
That's a lot of dough.
