So when the time came to decide on flowers for our wedding, I was a bit overwhelmed. Luckily, we found a very patient and helpful florist who guided us through the process.
This is pretty much how the meeting with the florist went down:
Me: "Our wedding colors are yellow and navy blue."
Florist: "Ok, these are the flowers we have available in those colors."
Me: "I hate those and those. I like those."
Florist: "These flowers go together well; these don't. This is what the mothers and the fathers should wear."
Me: "Sounds great. Do you take checks?"
No muss, no fuss. Just the way I like it.
One of the flowers we decided on was the alstroemeria, which will be featured in the bridesmaid's bouquets. I've never heard of this flower before, so when I spotted them during a recent trip to Whole Foods I snatched up a batch. Best to get a sneak peek before the main event, right?

I'm surprised you've never seen these. They are always at our Kroger and are super cheap. I get them when I want fresh flowers and don't want to drop a big pile o' cash.
ReplyDeleteI think they will be very nice for your wedding. Good choice! :)
