To The Races

Mike is a gambler. We all have our addictions and his is placing bets. I never understood it but could care less as long as he wasn't cashing in our mortgage.

We recently discovered that Finn McCool's offers horse betting and my hubs decided we needed a day of betting on the ponies.

During lunch with friends we announced our plans and everyone wanted to join!

And OH. MY. GOSH. IT was a blast! Our strategy was for me to pick my favorite horse name (without looking at the odds) and Mike placed the bets. And we just kept winning!

People were annoyed with how much we were winning. Some guy asked what our strategy was and then huffed when he heard it. But it paid big!

This may turn out to be our new favorite Sunday activity!
