Caribbean Cuisine Part Deux

It's been gross here lately. Sleety, snowy, cold and disgusting. So of course I started daydreaming about our honeymoon in St. Lucia and torturing myself thinking about that week in paradise.

And then I started salivating thinking about the food we gorged on.

I needed a taste of the islands. I suggested we have a St. Lucia night and Chef Mikey was all over it.

I provided the soundtrack

And the pinas!


The chef got to work


My goodness it was delicious.

Caribbean chicken, fried plantains, coconut rice---it took me right back!

Now if only the weather would cooperate with my daydreaming...
