Turkey travels

Mike and I just got back from our Thanksgiving with his family and boy are we tired! We had a whirlwind few days.

On Thursday morning we ran the Arlington Turkey Trot with Lauren and Chris.

It was early, cold and crowded but we had a blast! And it gave us a free pass to gorge ourselves the rest of the day on all the delicious food!

On Friday we went out on the town. First we stopped at a British pub -

Mike was in heaven as he sampled their bone marrow appetizer (yuck!!)

Then onto Sticky Rice DC!

It was just as weird and delicious but I'm a little partial to the Richmond location :)

On Saturday the hubs and I visited Kettler Ice Complex, site of the Capitals practice rink.

We picked up some new gear and watched the little Capitals play. One of the player's sons was on the team!

We may also have stopped at Rio for some treats

And later we took Miss A to the playground!

Brooksy had a blast making new friends

But it was all too exhausting for our little pup.

What a great trip!
